Brian Padilla p/k/a Chazz “Fiyastarta” Padilla is an award-winning trailer composer, visionary music executive, and Billboard-charting self-produced recording artist whose multi-decade career has helped shape underground, urban, electronic, and cinematic music culture across generations.

Beginning as a teenage artist, producer, and performer in Los Angeles’ pioneering Latin/Chicano Rap movement, Chazz quickly became known for his forward-thinking production style and early influence within West Coast Hip-Hop culture. Signed to Thump Records at a young age, he produced and collaborated with numerous respected artists in the Latin Rap and Hip-Hop scenes, including work connected to The Dove Shack and other influential West Coast acts.

As a founding member of Hispanic MCs alongside his cousins Rocky and Danny Padilla, Chazz helped shape the group’s sound and delivered its biggest hit, “I Do Love You,” which received radio airplay on Power 106 during the rise of Southern California’s Lowrider and Chicano music movement. During his youth, he performed on hundreds of stages nationwide alongside major artists, becoming part of a defining era in West Coast urban music culture.

By his early 20s, Chazz evolved into Electronic and House music, becoming an early pioneer in Los Angeles’ Hard House scene and producing records for some of the genre’s most influential labels. At just 22 years old, his self-produced hit single “A Mover La Colita” reached #5 on the Billboard Dance Charts after being signed to Arista Records and Logic Records, with remixes by legendary producers including Armand Van Helden and DJ Sneak.

Today, Chazz is widely recognized as one of the leading creative forces in modern trailer music. As Founder & CEO of The Epicenter Co.—which includes Epicenter Music, Epicenter Trailer Music, Deranged Muzik, and Epicenter Production Music—he transformed a one-man composing operation into a powerhouse collective of elite trailer composers and producers creating music for many of Hollywood’s biggest film, television, streaming, and advertising campaigns.

Through relentless innovation, creative instinct, and years of relationship-building throughout Hollywood, Chazz has established strong ties with major film studios, streaming platforms, music supervisors, and trailer houses across the entertainment industry. His work and creative direction have helped position Epicenter as one of the most respected independent forces in cinematic marketing music today.

Under Chazz’s leadership, Deranged Muzik emerged as a groundbreaking force in modern horror trailer music, helping redefine the genre through elevated sound design, psychological tension, experimental textures, and bold cinematic storytelling. His original productions and creative vision continue shaping the next generation of horror trailer music, resonating strongly with younger audiences and modern genre culture.
