his new hit album "Livin' It

Music.
Extended Version: C.E.O. of Epicenter
Music Productions Inc.. A former
Hit Arista Records Recording Artist
and Producer who has now brought
his wide spread musical talents
to his own company. Brian "Chazz"
Padilla, (known as Brian "Chaz"
Padilla in the early days of his
music career), is professionally
known as "Chazz" or "DJ
Chazz" to the Dance/House community.
He has released recordings and been
published under these names since
1990. He's been producing and releasing
music as Epicenter Music Productions
since 1991.
Influenced by Depeche Mode (in
the 80's), whom he calls "The
Best Group Ever". He started
playing keyboards with his cousins
Rocky Padilla and Danny Padilla
in their first music group "Sugar
Style" (Weekend Toyz/Let Me
Know) at the young age of 11. (They
later became known as the Hispanic
M.C.'s). At age 16, he produced
the hit Latin Rap anthem "I
Do Love You" for his cousins
Rocky Padilla and Danny Padilla
a.k.a. "Hispanic M.C.'s"
on Thump Records. "I Do Love
You" won "Power 106's
Rap Attack" for three weeks
straight and it continues to be
one of the label's most successful
hits to date. During this time also
hangin' out and collaborating with
his cousins (primos) and their homeboy,
Kid Frost (before he made La Raza).
He then started working at the infamous
Nautilus Aerobics Plus (Norwalk,
Ca.), were he met B-Real, Sen Dog,
and Muggs (Cypress Hill), Mellow
Man Ace, Battlecat, Slip (Wolfpac)
Kemo and Ivan (before they formed
Delinquent Habits). Also produced
early music for Slip, Ivan (Ives)
and Kemo. He was greatly inspired
by DJ Muggs (Cypress Hill) after
asking him in between free weight
sets to listen to a beat he created.
After hearing it, Muggs seemed surprisingly
shocked and his reply was, "Keep
it up"!! As if he was saying
"your not just some rootie-toot
producer kid, you got something,
keep it up". Little did Muggs
know that those 3 little words meant
the world to Chazz! (THANKS MUGGS)!!
Chazz's first solo production project
was "On a Friday Night"
by "Brown Pride" (Familia
Records). "On a Friday Night"
continues to be the biggest hit
from Familia Records to date, and
is presently featured as the background
music on their web site. Throughout
the 80's he recorded with major
artists such as the legendary funkmaster
Rick James, Kid Frost, Stacey Q
and SSQ, and has shared the stage
with many artists including Booya
Tribe, Lighter Shade of Brown, South
Central Cartel, Frost, Tierra, War,
Stacey Q., in front of tens of thousands
of fans at shows like Lowrider Concerts
(L.A. Coliseum, L.A. Sports Arena,
Anaheim Convention Center) Roq of
the 80's (Pico Rivera Sports Arena).
He later took on the position of
Producer and soon became, Head Producer
at "Da Drop Shop", Long
Beach, Ca. It was there were he
started producing for the "Dove
Shack"(2 Scoop, C-Nite and
Bo Roc) which helped them get noticed
by LBC local and Dr. Dre's brother,
Warren G. Other groups he produced
at Da Drop Shop included "Second
Nature", "Wolfpac",
"Lunatic" and about nine
other rap artists from South Central,
Compton and Long Beach areas, earning
his stripes along the way!
Then came the 90's...Techno and
House Music was born. After attending
a warehouse rave with some friends,
he realized he had to be a part
of this exciting new movement. It
fit him perfectly, after all, the
music that first inspired him to
get a keyboard was Depeche Mode
and 80's Electronic Disco Music.
It was that music that inspired
this new Techno and House Music
for the 90's. So Brian "Chaz"
Padilla added another "z"
to his name to separate himself
from the local Rap scene, and look
towards the rest of the world and
attempt to conquer a new genre...That's
when "Chazz" was born!
Throughout the 90's he molded his
place in the new house music and
hard house scene as a dance music
innovator by releasing 32 critically
acclaimed vinyl records of his own
under the name "Chazz"
or "DJ Chazz" (Girls),
"L.A. Rebels" (Saturday
Luv-favorite on DJ Enrie's POWER
106 "Power Workout"),
Mission Control, Da Funk Shop (Deep
into the Vibe), and Da Werk Shop
on various creditable indie dance
labels including Groove Daddy Records,
Jasper Stone, Greedy Records, Musik
Faktory, etc. He also produced for
many house artists including Womina
Wells, Jeanette, Romina, Somer,
Fatima etc. His dance remixes have
been featured on 12" singles
along side other hit dance producers
including Armand Van Heldon, A.J.
Mora, Tony B., DJ Trajic, etc. He
was also featured on the "L.A.
Experience" (Chazz, A.J. Mora,
Richard F., Tony B!, Mike Flores,
Artie the One Man Party, Louis Love,
etc.) on Thump Records.
In 1995 he signed with MCT Management
(Moby's NY management) who signed
him as "Chazz" to Arista
Records (UK) / Logic Records (US)
and released his international hit
and Number 5 Billboard Dance Chart
Hit, "A Mover la Colita"
which included remixes by Armand
Van Heldon.
To date, Chazz has released hundreds
of dance and hip hop original productions
and remixes on major and indie labels
topping charts in many major cities
on all seven continents. He is also
known to "tear it up on the
turntables" when spinning at
numerous famous Los Angeles nightclub
hotspots such as Circus Disco, Arena,
Grand Ave., etc. Not only can Chazz
shake the house down with his hot
dance tracks, he can equally pack
